I am the Finance Manager for all things Apex. Along with that, I handle payroll and human resources for our employees, and help with keeping the organization running smoothly.

I ensure policies and processes are implemented to safeguard and secure data. I also complete security assessments for partner organizations and conduct routine security policy actions.

I am responsible for the billing for a few of the NM School Based Health Centers as well as some of the data analysis and reporting for both NM and Colorado SBHCs.

The best aspect of my role is the opportunity to connect people with each other and with solutions for the complex issues that Apex’s work addresses.

As the Technical Program Manager, I am dedicated to developing our technical strategic vision for product solutions and supporting the growth of each of Apex’s technical teams.

I view evaluation activities as essential to informing program development and demonstrating impact, and I enjoy working with partners so that evaluation is a useful and gratifying experience.

I prioritize the user experience, such as barriers and successes when using our product. Processing this information to develop our user interface helps Apex provide the necessary support our project partners require.

I seek to develop trust-based relationships with our staff to facilitate collaboration, healthy communication, and positive growth. I provide organizational support and development through the implementation of effective processes that better serve the individuals who make up our team.

I love that I get to work internally with my team and externally with the key players and our champions who are rolling out programs to underserved populations.

I operate in a cross-departmental position and assist internal- and external-facing members with projects through user support, data management, reporting, and administrative support.

I help communicate tech-related barriers to diagnose, troubleshoot, and facilitate solutions. I have a passion for helping people and solving issues at any scale.

Building on my experiences in evaluation, sociology, and public health, I partner with organizations to develop frameworks and systems for the implementation and evaluation of their programs and services.

I am the chief evangelist for Apex’s approach to evaluation and am passionate about our vision: Evaluation that works.

As a Project Support Specialist, I offer cross-departmental support to ensure our projects stay organized and on schedule.

The best aspect of my job is the collective learning we do about what makes evaluation equitable and how to make it work across sectors and problems, so that it helps improve lives.

My aim is to assist in the creation of an environment where data can flow freely and barriers can be discussed openly so resolutions are found quickly.

Working at Apex allows me to combine my mental health education, my passion for helping underserved populations, my perspective as both a clinician and a software manager, and my general technical skills and expertise.

The most rewarding part of my job is the ability to collaborate with our partners in healthcare, whose goal is to provide better outcomes for children and adolescents.
