Role

I am a Senior Evaluator at Apex and have worked with partners across the education spectrum in early childhood, K-12, community schools, higher education, and school health. At Apex, I plan and conduct large and small-scale evaluations, locally and nationally, providing organizational consulting and capacity-building support to clients in areas such as logic modeling, evaluation design and implementation, data visualization and systems-based evaluation. I seek to engage multiple stakeholder groups in designing and conducting program evaluations that lead to program improvement and organizational capacity building.

Background and Education

I came to Apex in 2008 and have thrived being part of an amazing team and contributing to diverse and important of projects. I received my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Colorado and my Doctorate in Community and Prevention Research from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where I was a pre-doctoral fellow with NIMH’s Prevention and Research Training Program. I am also the President of the New Mexico Evaluators.

I am lucky to get to live in beautiful Albuquerque as part of a busy and fun household with my four kids, husband and two dogs who are my faithful hiking companions (more the dogs than the kids).
