Role
In my role as Data Manager, I am responsible for most of the data analysis and reporting for our school-based health center projects. As the HIPAA Compliance Officer, I am responsible for creating, maintaining, and updating all policies, procedures, plans, risk analyses, and agreements for Apex and our partners. I work with the Apex Technical Team to ensure our systems are secure and that Apex is compliant with HIPAA, FERPA, and other state and federal laws and regulations.
Background and Education
I worked in the home medical field for over 15 years doing billing, patient service, reporting, and accounting. I have an associate’s degree in Integrated Studies that I received in 2014. When not at Apex, I enjoy doing crafts and spending time with my nephew and dog.
