Reports Overview
To help Coordinators and Report Users understand the information collected, the CS ROI App automatically compiles a series of on-demand reports which help give meaning to the data collected. The reports also equip Coordinators and Report Users to communicate their work to internal and external stakeholders. Reports always reflect the most current data and date, and can be viewed by school year selection using the dropdown. Reports default to the current school year. Report Users can sort reports by all schools or by individual school.
Overall, these reports are intended to promote conversations around the role of the Community School Coordinator, their school, their community, and the resources that surround their role.
Benefits-Expenses
The Benefits-Expenses Report shows the percentages and totals for all expenses and benefits accounted for as of the current date. This is the basis of the ROI calculation.
Please note that expenses and benefits are both prorated and show year-to-date data: expenses and benefits that occur over a period of time are only calculated to the most current date.
Contribution Type
The Contribution Type Report shows the percentage of the different types of contributions collected: cash donations, grant dollars, in-kind resources, and volunteer hours.
Key Practices
The Key Practices Report shows the percentage of benefits collected that apply to each of the six Key Practices vital to community schools: Powerful student and family engagement: Collaborative leadership and shared power and voice; Expanded and enriched learning opportunities; Rigorous, community-connected classrooms; Culture of belonging, safety, and care; and Integrated systems of support.
While Community School Coordinators and leaders always consider all six key practices as part of their implementation strategy, it is important to note that this balance may not be reflected in this report data.
Snap-shot
The Snapshot Report shows the volunteer hours, donations, and stories collected over the past three months. This report is intended to help Coordinators describe and report on their most recent efforts during meetings with schools leaders and site-based leadership teams.
