Fathers New Mexico works to support young fathers and to partner with those dads to influence how stakeholders view young fathers. Apex helped Fathers New Mexico design a comprehensive assessment tool for fathers who participate in their programs. With support from the New Mexico Health Equity Partnership Boys and Men of Color Capacity Building Resource Pool, Apex engaged Fathers New Mexico staff and clients in working sessions to identify which measures are the most important for their program and what the current data show for those measures. Apex also conducted learning sessions to teach staff and clients how to create basic graphs and tables, helping Fathers New Mexico better understand their data and use it identify what is going well and what may need to change.
