I am a consultant at Apex and a seasoned program evaluator who is passionate about making data meaningful and useful to programs through linking the evaluation and implementation processes. This collaborative partnership allows me to better support the programs I evaluate, help them know how well they are doing, and help them do better.
Background and Education
I have a Doctoral degree in Sociology and over 26 years of evaluation experience in program planning, evaluation, and research. I’ve taught undergraduate courses at the University of New Mexico and been the principal investigator of several federal, state, and local evaluations. I believe my participatory approach to evaluation gives programs a better chance at achieving their goals and documenting their value. When I’m not evaluating, I’m usually either playing in the Land of Enchantment or quietly contemplating in my favorite chair.
