Role

As a Project Support Specialist, I serve as a liaison across departmental lines, uniting different teams toward a common goal. I provide regular support in completing project deliverables alongside project managers and teams through cross-functional collaboration. I hold a genuine passion for healthcare accessibility, health education, and health literacy. It is inspiring to work with an organization prioritizing those closest to the work and those most affected by the work.

Background and Education

In my role as a patient advocate, I noticed a gap between public health data and policymaking. This experience sparked a passion for bridging the gap and calling on policymakers to implement data-driven policy changes. To follow this passion, I graduated from the dual Master of Public Health and Master of Social Work program at New Mexico State University. This degree offers distinct interdisciplinary collaboration to address the lack of data-driven policymaking. Outside of work, I volunteer with community based non-profits to engage in historic preservation, affordable housing, and regenerative agriculture.
