Role

I tackle complex problems, reconcile conflicting perspectives, and craft revealing data stories that end in actionable recommendations. I collaborate with a team of self-determined and humble evaluators to situate discrete data within broader contexts to start a dialogue with clients around knowledge gaps and learning opportunities. I am always eager to amplify the voices of those most impacted by policy decisions, especially youth and others whose perspectives are frequently overlooked.

Background and Education

I am drawn to work that revolves around the lives of children. I started my career as an educator and quickly discovered that I wanted to deepen my understanding of education systems and policy. I earned my PhD in Childhood Studies at Rutgers University and completed a two-year fellowship with the Harvard Strategic Data Project which shaped me into an evaluation researcher. I work with public and nonprofit agencies to conduct needs assessments, program evaluations, and establish systematic data practices. In my free time, I relish reading with my kiddo, observing animals in nature with my spouse, or taking long walks by myself.
